My name is Jessica Holland.
I am an intuitive Spiritual Guide, Bufo Facilitator and Entheogenic Integration Specialist.
My Mission
Helping people reconnect with themselves through ceremony, psychology, and spiritual practice.
At the heart of everything I do is one simple intention: to help you remember who you truly are beneath the conditioning, protective patterns, and the stories you've carried throughout your life.
I work with Bufo (5-MeO-DMT) because, when approached with preparation, safety and reverence, it can offer a profound experience of our innate wholeness by temporarily dissolving the barriers that deep us feeling separate from ourselves.
I integrate that work through Internal Family Systems (IFS), a therapeutic approach I've studied extensively because lasting transformation does not come from ceremony alone. It comes from learning how to meet the parts of ourselves that emerge, with curiosity and understanding, so the insights gained become embodied.
Whether through Bufo ceremonies, integration work, retreats, or spiritual guidance, my purpose is the same. To help you cultivate a deeper, loving relationship with yourself.
From that place of connection people often find greater clarity, compassion, freedom and peace.
This is sacred work. Gentle, grounded, and deeply human.
The founding of Shama Sanctuary
Several years into serving Bufo, I recognized the need for greater structure, accountability, and protection for both facilitators and participants.
That led me to found Shama Sanctuary, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) sacred medicine church, June 2024.
Shama was created to offer a safe and supportive container for sincere seekers who feel called to explore consciousness and spirituality through entheogenic sacraments. The church provides a framework grounded in preparation, ethical service, community support, and integration to honor both the sacred nature of these experiences and the responsibility that comes with them.
People use different language for what they encounter, God, Source, Spirit, Universal Consciousness, Divine Presence, but the heart of this work is the same: cultivating a deeper relationship with ourselves, each other, and the mystery of life itself.
What Is an Entheogen and How Does Bufo Differ from Traditional Psychedelics?
The word entheogen comes from the roots en (within), theos (divine or God), and gen (to generate or bring forth) meaning “to generate the divine within.”
Bufo, often called toad medicine, is classified as an entheogen rather than a psychedelic. While psychedelics tend to create visual or hallucinogenic experiences, Bufo works differently. It dissolves the sense of separation, offering a direct encounter with pure awareness or the divine essence within.
The journey itself is brief, typically lasting about 20 to 30 minutes. Yet it can open profound states of healing, release, and remembrance.
